How it works
Buying from outside China is mostly a paperwork problem. We handle the paperwork.
Send the work reference, your delivery country and any deadline. We reply within one business day.
Condition report, provenance notes, high-resolution images and a firm quotation with shipping options.
Bank transfer, card or PayPal. Funds are held against a written invoice; the work is not released until cleared.
Museum-standard packing, insured transit, export documentation, tracking and delivery signature.
Before you buy

| What is included in the price? | The work and its documentation (certificate, condition report, provenance notes). Shipping, insurance, import duty and local taxes are quoted separately. |
| Who pays import duty? | Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the buyer. We ship DAP (delivered at place) and give you the full customs paperwork so clearance is straightforward. |
| How are payments handled? | Bank transfer in USD, EUR, GBP or HKD; card or PayPal for smaller amounts. All payments are against a written invoice. |
| Can I return a work? | Yes — within 7 days of delivery, in original packing and condition. Return shipping and duty are the buyer's cost. Commissioned works and editions are excluded. |
| Is there a certificate? | Every work ships with a signed certificate of authenticity and a photographic condition report taken before packing. |
| Independent authentication? | Available on request, arranged with a third-party appraiser before purchase. Cost quoted per work. |
Some Chinese works require clearance before they can legally leave the country. This depends on the date the work was made, the artist and the material. We assess every work individually before it is listed, and tell you in writing if a work cannot travel.
